Pat Doab, a native of County Limerick, is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Crushing Tigers, an aggregate equipment distributor based in Austin. He graduated from University of Limerick with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, before adding a Graduate diploma in Business Management and a National Certificate in Sports/Fitness, also from UL.
Pat is an avid sportsman; his pastimes include playing and coaching hurling, Gaelic football and soccer. He is President and co-founder of the Celtic Cowboys Sports and Social Club.
He founded the Irish Network Austin, a business and social network that is open to all Irish, Irish-Americans, and friends of Ireland who live and work in the greater Austin area. Pat is a recipient of Texas Irish American Leaders Award 2009, in 2014 he received the Irish Echo 40 under 40 Award and recently was honored with International Volunteer of the year by the LGFA (Ladies Gaelic Football Association) in Ireland for developing and nurturing communities abroad.
Pat has a strong interest in fostering connections with Limerick, as he was a signer on the inaugural Memorandum of Understanding between Austin and Limerick in 2019.
